The role of the Head of Professional Training is to lead the design, development and management of
our professional short courses, E-Learning and bespoke training programmes. The post holder will
draw appropriate support from the Backstage Academy Team in support of a diverse portfolio
commercial and executive business-facing activities. The post provides a strong customer-facing
service to both internal and external contacts and will often be the first point of contact for senior
managers and external business contacts.
The Post holder will be a high-energy self-starter who loves a challenge in a fast-paced performance-
driven organisation with experience of developing professional training courses along with excellent
interpersonal and advisory skills, displaying a confident and friendly approach, excellent communication
skills. Previous experience working in the Live Events sector and the Creative Industries is essential.
