This post has a central role in delivering on our targets as laid out in Backstage Academy’s Access and Participation Plan and will have a key role within the Student Experience department. They will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective & targeted programme that encourages and supports a diverse range of applicants, particularly those from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds locally and nationally.

The Access, Participation and Outreach Officer will make a significant contribution to the on-going monitoring and evaluation of all aspects of student recruitment and student progress once enrolled. Maintaining a supportive role for students once recruited. We also anticipate this role will play some part in Open Days, recruitment events and School & College visits. The role will work closely with student representatives and the academic, marketing, student support and admissions teams.
